Woman Sought In Alleged Royersford Burglary

ROYERSFORD PA – An unidentified woman whose face was captured in several photographs is being sought by Upper Providence Township police as a suspect in an alleged burglary and theft of cash from Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW) Post 6341, 730 S. 4th Ave., according to a bulletin distributed Thursday (July 30, 2015).

The department’s criminal investigation division claimed the woman entered the VFW Post on July 20 (Monday) at about 3:32 a.m. and stole $3,792 in currency. Its bulletin provided four separate black-and-white photos of the suspect, who in each is wearing what appears to be a V-neck top and shorts.

It also stated that a newspaper delivery person who apparently was in the area at the time reported seeing a dark-colored sedan in the VFW parking lot at about 3 a.m. the same day.

Although the VFW bears an Royersford address, its physical location is within the township. The bulletin was also distributed online by Royersford borough police.
