Volunteers Help Protective Services Learners

EXPLAINING EMERGENCY RESPONSE CONCEPTS – Volunteers from the Limerick Fire Company visited students Friday (April 15, 2016) in Protective Services studies at the Western Montgomery Career and Technology Center, 77 Graterford Rd., to help explain concepts in the Emergency Response Guidebook. The guidebook, according to its publisher, “is used by emergency services personnel to provide guidance for initial response to hazardous material and dangerous goods incidents.” Protective Services students must know and understand its contents to prepare for their annual NOCTI tests, which help them earn industry-based credentials and certifications.
