After The Fire Ended, They’re Still At Work

EXTINGUISING A FIRE JUST HALF OF THEIR JOB – There’s a lot more work involved in firefighting than just putting out a fire, the Liberty Fire Company of Spring City explained on its Facebook page. Company volunteers spent a portion of Tuesday night (April 19, 2016) repacking fire hoses on their apparatus, and preparing the equipment for their next emergency call. They reported that hundreds of feet of hose lines had to be washed, cleaned, hung to dry, then packed back onto trucks after they were used during the weekend to help fight a hay field fire in Upper Providence Township.
