In Limerick, Nothing Like Being Hands-On

REAL-LIFE LEARNING ASSISTANCE – Limerick Fire Company volunteers brought apparatus and equipment Friday afternoon (April 22, 2016) to the Graterford Road campus of the Western Montgomery Career and Technology Center. They were there to help students in the school’s protective services classes practice for NOCTI skills tests, which help them earn industry-based credentials and certifications. Among the real-life tasks students encountered were handing a high-pressure fire hose (above) and making a supply connection to a fire hydrant (below).
