One Injured Thursday In 422 Roll-Over

422 ROLL-OVER ACCIDENT THURSDAY – Units from the Pennsylvania State Police, Limerick Fire Company, and Friendship Ambulance in Royersford were among first responders on the scene Thursday morning (May 5, 2016) at about 8 a.m. to rescue those involved in a roll-over single vehicle accident that occurred on westbound U.S. Route 422 near the Tri County Chrysler-Dodge-Jeep-Ram auto dealership in Limerick Township, just west of the 422’s Limerick-Linfield interchange. Passers-by and others who claimed in Facebook posts to have witnessed the accident said the vehicle – a white, late-model sedan – rolled several times before coming to rest on the roadside shoulder. At least one individual appeared to have been injured in the mishap, and was seen being transported from the area by an ambulance crew. Passing traffic was reduced to the left lane only as crews worked. No police or other official report on the incident was immediately obtainable.
