Limerick, Royersford Test For Police Applicants

BLUE BELL PA – Interested in becoming an officer on the force of the Limerick Township or Royersford Borough police departments? You must first make the list of applicants to be considered for hiring, and to do that you must pass a written exam. The exam is difficult; the online application process, not so much. But the application window is open only though Friday (July 29, 2016), so there’s no time to waste.

Rather than conduct the test itself, the township and borough participate in the Montgomery County Police Consortium. It will administer the test Aug. 13 (Saturday), according to a legal advertisement, with registration beginning at 8 a.m. at Montgomery County Community College in Blue Bell, on behalf of Limerick, Royersford, nearby Lower Pottsgrove, and 10 other municipalities.

Also seeking candidates are Hatboro, Lower Moreland, Lower Providence, North Wales, Norristown, Springfield, Towamencin, Upper Dublin, Upper Moreland, and Warminster,

The unified application form that allows candidates to apply to only one or all 13 municipal forces at the same time is available online here. Registrations will be accepted until Friday at 4 p.m. A $35 fee will be charged.

If you successfully pass the written exam you may be invited next to take an agility test, and other tests likely will follow it.
