Among items on the menu: roast pork loin with rosemary and garlic
LIMERICK PA – Italian Buffet night returns Jan. 9 (2017; Monday) to the Western Montgomery Career and Technology Center, 77 Graterford Rd., as its culinary arts students from Spring-Ford, Pottsgrove, and Upper Perkiomen schools host their first community meal of the new year from 4:30-7 p.m.

The center’s buffets are a series of events conducted throughout the academic year to show off students’ skills, and also give them practical training in their future careers.
A broad menu of Italian-inspired dishes will be served during the night, including antipasto, Tuscan bean and kale soup, home-made Italian meatballs, fettuccine marinara, assorted grilled vegetables, chicken saltimbocca, roast pork loin with rosemary and garlic, and wild mushroom and truffle risotto. Italian chocolate cake and an ice cream station are available for dessert.
Tickets for the buffet cost $13 for adults, $9 for children ages 3-12, and children age 2 and younger are free. Tickets can be purchased at the door, or call 610-489-7272 Ext. 106 for reservations. Beware, though; space is limited.
