Police Find Spring City Man Stabbed, Bleeding

SPRING CITY PA – “A 56-year-old Spring City woman is in jail after being charged with stabbing her husband” Sunday (Dec. 11, 2016) during an argument at their South Church Street home, The Mercury reported.

According to court records, Mary Jane Fillman was charged with aggravated and simple assault, reckless endangerment, possessing an instrument of crime, making terroristic threats and harassment, as a result of the incident,” according to Mercury staff writer Evan Brandt.

“An officer was dispatched after 4 p.m. and arrived at the home in the 300 block of South Church Street to find Robert Earl Fillman in front of his house “bleeding profusely” from a wound in his back,” Brandt’s story stated.
