Police Seek Woman In Collegeville Card Theft

COLLEGEVILLE PA – A woman identified by the Upper Providence Township Police Department as a “person of interest” is being sought for an interview in the alleged theft of two credit cards at the Movie Tavern in Collegeville PA during mid-June, the department said Wednesday morning (July 19, 2017) in a Facebook post.

The female (at top, left) presented the missing cards sometime later (police did not report the date and time) at the Target store in Oaks PA in an attempt to make two purchases, it added. She arrived at the store, officers said, in a red Pontiac Grand Am-model car (top right). Photos of both the woman and car were obtained from surveillance cameras.

Police are asking for public help in identifying the woman. Anyone with information should call Ofc. Amanda Morgan at 610-933-7899 Ext. 186, or send her an e-mail at 041mor@uprov-montco.org, and refer to Incident Report 68-17-05042.
