Phoenixville Lends Hand To Hurricane-Stricken

HELPING WITH HURRICANE HARVEY – Members of the Phoenixville Fire Department (at bottom) spent hours Thursday (Aug. 31, 2017) folding and packaging about 300 shirts, key chains and patches (at top). They will serve as clean, dry clothing for firefighters, other first responders and their families who are working in Texas to assist those affected by Hurricane Harvey and its flooding. Other departments or fire companies interested in following Phoenixville’s example, they said, can send materials to Fire Shirts, in care of the Fire Shirts, c/o Texas State Fire Marshal’s Office, 333 Guadalupe St., Austin TX 78701.
