LIMERICK PA – Women’s fashions designer Tory Burch (at top), who was raised in nearby Valley Forge, will open her first Pennsylvania outlet store during November at the Philadelphia Premium Outlets on West Lightcap Road, shopping center owner Simon Premium Outlets announced Wednesday (Sept. 6, 2017). A specific opening date was not mentioned.
The retail unit will join more than 200 other global locations for the sale of Burch products with a “preppy-bohemian style,” according to a news release. Burch introduced her clothing line in 2004, and is best known as “the maker of the iconic ballet flat and shift tunic … (other) colorful and eclectic apparel, shoes, handbags and accessories.
The outlets are “always looking to bring in coveted and exclusive brands for shoppers,” area Director of Marketing Kate Johnson said. “Tory Burch opening its first outlet store in Pennsylvania at our center provides great momentum as we move into our busiest shopping season, and we are excited to be able to offer our shoppers yet another reason to come shop with us.”
Other recent updates at the outlets include an expansion of Restoration Hardware Outlet, and the unveiling of a new media lounge located in the heart of the center near its Food Court. Additional retailer announcements can be expected in coming weeks, Johnson noted.
The outlets feature 150 stores from designer and name brands that include Michael Kors, Kate Spade New York, Under Armour, UGG, Fossil, and Ann Taylor. They are located just off of the Sanatoga exit of U.S. Route 422. Simon operates 84 outlets centers in the United States, Puerto Rico, Canada, Japan, Malaysia, Mexico and South Korea.
