Coming To Limerick: Two ‘Coffees With Cops’

LIMERICK PA – As far as the Limerick Police Department is concerned, once is good but twice is nice.

The department has scheduled not one but two “Coffee With A Cop” sessions next month, it announced Monday (Sept. 18, 2017) on its Facebook page. Both will be held on different dates and times – Oct. 4 (Wednesday) from 9-11 a.m., and Oct. 11 (Wednesday) from 6-8 p.m. – at the Spring Valley YMCA, 19 Linfield-Trappe Rd.

The evening gathering was planned specifically to meet earlier public requests. The coffee, and any conversations with officers and department leaders, are free. “Have questions about safety, security, or community happenings?,” the police asked its Facebook readership. “Come have a chat with our cops and get to know what’s happening,” its post said.

No reservation or advance notice is needed. Just walk in, sit down, and say hello to the township’s men in blue.
