LIMERICK PA – Utility adjustments and paving work are being cited as the cause of lane restrictions scheduled to begin today (Monday, Nov. 6, 2017) and continue through Saturday (Nov. 11) from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. daily on portions of Limerick Center Road, according to the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation.
Restrictions will be placed on Limerick Center between Main Street, Linfield, on its southwest end, and Laurel Drive and St. Andrews Boulevard at its northeast end. PennDOT is milling the existing state highway surface and repaving it with new asphalt. The work will seal the roadway and provide drivers with a smoother riding surface, it said.
Drivers are advised to allow extra time when traveling through the work zone. Slowdowns may occur during construction, the agency noted. Its contractor’s schedule depends on the weather.
