ROYERSFORD PA – A public ceremony, during which the Spring-Ford Area High School television studio will be dedicated in memory of former Ram County TV Manager Steve Bonetz (at top), is schedule for Jan. 10 (Wednesday) beginning at 6 p.m. at the high school, 350 S. Lewis Rd.
- This event has been added to The Post Publications calendar.
Bonetz, a 1990 Spring-Ford High graduate, managed the district television cable channel and production studio for nearly 20 years and “was known to many as the voice of Spring-Ford,” district Marketing and Communications Manager Erin Crew said. He died suddenly on June 7, 2017. “He worked with current and former employees, community members, and hundreds of thousands of students,” she added, and “will be remembered for his eagerness to mentor students and co-workers.”
Following the ribbon-cutting dedication, the event also will include a tour of the studio, presentation of a student-produced video tribute, and light refreshments.
